Numa is a grain processing company based in Western Uganda, 30 km from Mbarara. Established in 1995, it is committed to improving livelihoods by offering high-quality, nutritious grain-based products.
We work with over 2,000 farmers to transform raw grain sourced from them into affordable, accessible products that meet the nutritional needs of our communities, while creating sustainable value for all stakeholders.
Our range of milled flours and composite blends is sold under the NUMA brand across Uganda. We now aim to add a new product: instant porridge.

Millet, maize, soybean and cassava procured from 2,000+ organised farmers, giving us a secure, traceable raw-material supply.
Value addition & processing
Grain is cleaned and milled into flour for human consumption, then packed into 1, 2, 5 and 25 kg SKUs.

Established distribution across Western Uganda and Kampala through our own teams and a network of agents.

Training for our farmers in agronomy and post-harvest handling, so the grain reaching our mill is clean and consistent.
